Die Skulptur zeigte viel von seiner naturbelassenen Oberfl\u00e4che, war aber sehr schwer, unhandlich und zu zweit kaum zu tragen.<br \/>\nNach ersten R\u00fcckenproblemen um 1999 ging ich dazu \u00fcber Skulpturen leichter zu gestalten und Durchbr\u00fcche anzulegen, um sie besser transportieren zu k\u00f6nnen.<br \/>\nDaher setzte ich mich 2001 an die etwas klobige Skulptur, um sie von \u00fcberfl\u00fcssigem Ballast zu befreien (s.o.). Dadurch war die Arbeit danach mit zwei Personen oder einem Kran gut zu heben.<br \/>\n2018 entschied ich mich, den liegenden Torso weiter zu modifizieren, da er im Vergleich zu aktuellen Arbeiten immernoch sehr massig war.
